Argo Cyber Systems supports a U.S. Government customer in a mission-critical program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. We are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy advanced cybersecurity capabilities.

**Responsibilities:**
- Implement SAFe Agile best practices, integrating data management and governance.
- Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to develop new ideas.
- Solve unusually complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Operate with substantial latitude and mentor others.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with product roadmaps.
- Plan, develop, and implement large-scale projects from start to finish.
- Architect project lifecycles across various technologies and platforms.
- Translate business requirements into technical applications.
- Use creative, innovative, and critical thinking to troubleshoot and advance projects.
- Deliver flexible, integrated solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
- Provide consultation on business processes and system functionality to align technical and business solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis of Enterprise architecture, design, or configuration failures related to cybersecurity.

**Required Skills:**
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience.
- 6+ years of experience with Agile software development programs.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean-Agile principles, metrics, and technology.
- Understanding of complex data models.
- Strong background in AWS, database, networking, and software development solutions.
- Experience with multi-tiered architecture using microservices.
- Development of identity and access management solutions.
- Creative, innovative thinking and advanced decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of technology trends and championing new ideas.
- Experience with Agile tools, including JIRA and Confluence.

**Desired Skills:**
- Experience developing and maintaining web-based operational systems for real-time malware analysis.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar frameworks.
- Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD concepts, and tools like Git, Jenkins, Cloudbees.
- Knowledge of containerized applications and microservices architectures.
- Understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures.
- Technical knowledge of cybersecurity attack techniques.
- Experience implementing systems into production.
- Developing malware analysis systems and performance metrics using Grafana.

**Desired Certifications:**
- Agile software development methodology certification (e.g. SCRUM Master) is highly desired.
- AWS Associate Architect certification.

**Required Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Twelve (12) years of experience (for a total of twenty-two (22) or more years) in lieu of a degree).
- Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred.
