Roving Tech Duties:

• Position requires on-site work, no remote availability.
• Prepare supplies (counting and filling envelopes, writing serial numbers, completing forms, working with hand tools, and counting in numerical order).
• Assisting with loading/unloading machines at poll locations
• Assist Warehouse Coordinator & IT personnel in set-up, testing and troubleshooting of election equipment.
• Travel county-wide in response to equipment service calls.
• Deliver and replenish equipment and supplies to polling locations as needed.

Skills Needed:

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check
• Must have attention to detail
• Must be able to sit and/or stand all day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow directions (both written and oral)
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to count accurately and file in numerical order
• Must be able to read and write neatly
• Must be able to work in both fast and slow-paced environments (this work can be repetitious)
• Must be flexible and able to work some overtime, weekends, and holidays (some early mornings and later evenings will be required)
• Must be able to work individually, as well as, in teams to complete assigned duties
• Must possess a mobile phone capable of text communication
• Must have safe and reliable transportation* - *when using personal vehicle to complete field assignments, mileage will be paid at the federal reimbursement rate for any travelrequired to other sites, a SOE vehicle will be used when available

Other:

• Dress code: Employees must wear long pants. When working in the field will need to have a collared (polo or button up) shirt.

Hourly Rate: $16.50
